OTP Software will get your company's e-commerce site up and running.
We offer the following services:
An e-commerce site is a good start. But when you integrate it with the enterprise, the profit generating capacity can increase many times (coming from added revenues, strategic procurement and improved efficiency within your business systems). Furthermore, ROI and strategic returns should be expected from incremental investments targeted to increase sales, customers, customer retention and important partnerships. This is to be expected because you are leveraging and expanding upon your First Wave ERP baseline system. OTP helps you culturally, functionally and technically synthesize your resources to gain effective business systems.
Here is our formula to leverage the 'e' in your ERP:

Oracle's strategic procurement Package offers a full-automated Web-based procurement solution designed to help small to mid-sized companies significantly reduce the time and costs associated with purchasing goods and services. The solution consists of an an intuitive, Web-based purchasing capability along with financial applications to completely automate the purchasing lifecycle. Self-service Web-based purchasing allows employees to initiate purchasing requests on their desktops, and provides catalog items to support non-production, MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), service and administrative purchases. Mid-market companies which can spend 20% of their revenues on purchasing goods and services, can achieve savings of 10% or more on these procurement costs and cut processing time by over 50%. A 10% savings in procurement costs can translate into a 20-30% increase in net profit for many midsize companies.
OTP Software offers hosting/timeshare services as well as FastForward implementations of Strategic Procurement for the Public Sector.
What is XML?
Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a World Wide Web Consortium standard that lets you create your own tags in order to process business-to-business transactions on the web
Like EDI, XML can be used for data interchange. Because different organizations (or even different parts of the same organization) rarely make a standard on a single set of tools, it takes a significant amount of work for two groups to communicate. XML makes it easy to send structured data across the web so that nothing gets lost in translation
Unlike EDI, XML does not require high implementation and operation costs, per-partner customization requirements, or the need for value-added network providers. Accordingly, XML has great appeal with cost-conscious midsize and smaller companies, enabling smaller companies to do business with larger companies and vice-versa.
Additionally, XML has capabilities that EDI does not have, such as the transmission of forecast information. As consortiums, standards bodies, and steering committees develop XML standards, organizations will be able to implement more innovative business-to-business solutions. Companies will be able to create a framework for defining XML schemas that serve as the basis for information interchange between applications (Oracle, J.D. Edwards, SAP, etc.).
OTP offers Business-to-Business Solutions for EDI/XML transactions. We can help migrate your existing EDI system to XML, implement a joint EDI/XML solution, or implement a standalone XML system.
